Represents general averages, not specific neighborhoods or situations

6. AI Features Disclaimer

RetiroAI uses artificial intelligence to generate educational content, insights, and respond to queries. This AI:

Cannot consider your complete financial situation
May occasionally produce unexpected or incorrect responses
Should never be the sole basis for financial decisions

AI responses are generated for educational purposes and should be verified with qualified professionals.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.

Free Trials

Free trials may be offered at our discretion. At the end of a trial, your subscription will be downgraded to the free tier unless you subscribe to a paid plan.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.

Refund Policy & Cancellation Rights

EU/UK Consumers: You have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing for a full refund, unless you have already begun using the Service. By subscribing and immediately accessing premium features, you acknowledge that you are requesting we begin providing the Service before the 14-day cancellation period expires, and you understand that you will lose your right to cancel once you access premium features.

General Policy: Outside the statutory cancellation period, no refunds are provided for partial billing periods or unused time. If you experience significant technical issues preventing use, contact us within 14 days for consideration.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your payment card details.

8. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

By using RetiroAI, you agree to:

Provide accurate information about your finances
Verify all projections with qualified professionals
Not rely solely on RetiroAI for financial decisions
Accept responsibility for your financial choices
Keep your account secure and confidential
Not share your account with others
Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or abuse the Service
Not use the Service for any illegal purpose
Not automate access or scrape data from the Service

9. Account Termination

By You: You may delete your account at any time through Settings. This will permanently delete all your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.

10. Intellectual Property

RetiroAI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the financial data you input. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service to you.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

Technical issues or outages
Third-party service disruptions
Circumstances beyond our control

We are not liable for any losses resulting from service unavailability.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, data, or calculations provided through the Service.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RetiroAI and its operators shall not be liable for any:

Direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

EU Online Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and currently do not participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

17. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RetiroAI regarding the Service.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms. We may assign our rights to any successor or acquirer.
